Create an Endeavour student .edu email account

If you need an .edu (education) email account please follow the instructions at THIS LINK. An .edu email if often required for student discounts.

You could use your Endeavour email for the entirety of your study at Endeavour. It's usually possible to forward other email accounts to the one address, without the need to chage your email address with your Contacts. It is an option to consider!

Natural Standard has changed its name

Natural Medicines is the new name and new look for the product previously known as 'Natural Standard'.

Although it may look a bit different it still contains basically the same information just organised slightly differently. All links to Natural Standard will land you on the Natural Medicines page.

Confused? Dont be, there are very few changes. Natural Standard will be replaced on LibGuides and everywhere else with Natural Medicines. If you come across a reference that we've missed (give us a few days to change them) PLEASE let us know.

New libraries for Adelaide and Perth

Perth and Adelaide students are in for a surprise. Their campus libraries have been relocated and have had major upgrades. Not only is there extra space, including an adjacent tutorial room, but they have also been fitted with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags to improve the security and tracking of resources.

Each campus now has a Self Checker machine installed that allows students the option of processing their own Check Outs. This will assist the students move through the library more quickly during busy times when they need to get to class quickly, lunchtimes or prior to closing.

Extra Friday hours at ADL, GC, PTH

Additional semester Friday opening hours will commence at Adelaide, Gold Coast and Perth campuses this year.

Each year we review the library opening hours and have identified that with slight changes to staff work patterns we can accommodate a few extra hours to align the larger and smaller campuses library opening times.

In 2014 the semester hours at Adelaide, Gold Coast & Perth were:

Mon - Thurs, 7:50am - 6:00pm
Friday, 7:50am - 1:00pm

The new 2015 Friday semester hours are: 

Friday, 7:50am  - 4:00pm incl. 30min lunch closure

Lunch break is an issue for the Perth and Gold Coast campuses where there is only one person working Fridays. The librarian will determine the best time for their lunch break to minimise disruption to students.The only other limitation, compared to other days, is that on Fridays the staff will not be be able to provide library classes or information skills appointments.
